General News Our Bishop Fabian W. Bruskewitz comes every year on the feast day of our parish and school patron, St. Wenceslaus, to say the daily Mass for the school kids. It was the first opportunity we'd had to introduce the bishop to his namesake, our six month old William Fabian Hart. You can see they were pleased to meet one another, and the bishop insisited on a picture. I only wish we had a better camera. ~Anne Marie Hart '93

General News We are starting our own CSA farm. Little flower farm is going strong with 2 dairy goats, 2 pigs (so friendly!), 6 rabbits (we ate some on Sunday) and 24 laying hens, as well as 5 icelandic sheep and 2 cats......we are farming the old way: scythes, strawstacks, muddy children, etc.....so happy, prayers needed, as well, though eager to work for food! :) Next year: cows! Year after: farming with work horses! Website on its way.

General News Dear friends, Our baby Helen Carol was born 9/30/09 at 1:45 am. Although she was full term she weighed only 3'13" and was 15" long. She was immediately having trouble breathing and was whisked by ambulance to Christ Hospital NICU. She was diagnosed the next morning with Trisomy 18, accompanied by numerous and very severe heart problems. After she was baptized at her bedside by Fr. Fanelli, and she met all her sisters and brother and grandma, she fell asleep peacefully and painlessly in Christ at 7:25 pm on October 1. We love our little angel, and we ask her to intercede for us, her family on earth. The Homefirst team who delivered her here at home, and the vast team at Christ hospital were heroic, competent, compassionate and kind. Thank you to all of them, and to all of you, for your friendship and prayers. Jamie and David Baugh, Brigid, Bonnie, Frank, Gwen and Sarah

General News On September 3rd I made simple vows here at the monastery of St. Benedict in Norcia Italy, and received my new name. Formerly my name was Dominic Hayden (class of 2008). My new name in full is Br. Mary Evagrius Hayden, O.S.B., but you can just put me down as Br. Evagrius Hayden O.S.B. since that's what I go by around here.
Please pass on to everyone to pray for me as I continue on this path which God has chosen for me. I will always keep the TAC community in my prayers.

In Christ, Br. Evagrius Hayden, O.S.B.

General News Interim President Peter DeLuca was interviewed this week by Rev. Mitch Pacwa, S.J., on Mother Angelica's Catholic network show, EWTN Live. It will be archived here until approximately October 7: http://ewtn.edgeboss.net/wmedia/ewtn/multicast/video/windowsmedia/el_300k.wvx Also, a TAC sweatshirt made it onto Thursday’s episode of EWTN’s teen show, “Life on the Rock!” Host Doug Barry wears the gear throughout the show, and he and Fr. Mark talk about it (and say some nice things about the College) at about the 1:40 mark. See it here: http://ewtn.edgeboss.net/wmedia/ewtn/multicast/video/windowsmedia/lotr_300k.wvx
