Mark Donnelly (Class of 1989) has produced a Christams CD, "Carol of the Bells", by Mark Donnelly and The Donnelly Family. This is a CD of mostly a cappella music from medieval to vocal jazz. It has been very well received by the music community in Vancouver. Singing on the CD are Mark and his three eldest children: Sean, Colleen, and Theresa. In the States, it is available at CD Baby. In Canada it may be easier/quicker to get it through Adagio Music. Also, available on iTunes. For more information go to markdonnelly.ca.
Mark and his wife Catherine (Becher), Class of 1987, reside in White Rock, BC with their nine children.

We are excited to announce the birth of our fourth child! Kate was born Nov. 30th at 6pm, weighing in at 6 lbs. 8 oz. and 21 inches long!
She is healthy and happy and her brothers and sister are so excited she has arrived!

Katheryn (Lyon) ('05) and Matthew Cordes are blessed to announce the adoption finalization of their beautiful daughter, Verity Majella Judea Hawthorne. Verity Majella was born on Nov. 15, '08, 4 lbs. 5 oz, 18 in., in Kansas City, MO. Despite being born early, she is very healthy and is gaining weight fast. The gift of her life has brought us deep joy. She was truly worth the wait!

On behalf of the Board of Governors of Thomas Aquinas College, I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Michael F. McLean as our next president. He will assume office at the beginning of the next academic term, and his inauguration as the fourth president of the College will take place on Saturday, February 13, 2010.
Dr. McLean is highly qualified to be our president. He has served as a tutor at the College for 31 years and has a clear knowledge and understanding of, as well as commitment to, the mission of the College as set forth by the Founders. He served the College as Vice President for Development from 1987 to 1992, and has served as Dean of the College for the past six years. Also, during his tenure as Dean, he has been an active and effective member of the Board of Governors.
We on the Board look forward with great faith and optimism to the continued ability of Thomas Aquinas College to produce outstanding graduates under Dr. McLean’s leadership.

I know some of you have already heard, but I just wanted to send out an email announcing the birth of our daughter, Marguerite Marie on October 5 at 5:10 PM. She weighed just 6 lbs 2oz and was about 19" long.
We are both doing well, especially little Marguerite. She must be at least seven pounds by now (a week ago she was already 6 lb 10 oz).
My recovery has been longer and a bit more complicated, thus the delay in sending this email. This is the first time I've checked/written any emails in over two weeks!
